Er war der vielleicht einflussreichste Architekt des 20. Jahrhunderts: Vor 50 Jahren erfand Victor Gruen die Shopping-Mall, das Einkaufszentrum. Wie grundlegend sein Konzept die Welt verändern würde, konnte selbst der als gigantomanisch bekannte Emigrant aus Wien nicht ahnen. Shopping hat sich seither als dominante Kraft unseres Lebens durchgesetzt. In westlichen Städten organisiert Konsum alles – von ökonomischen Strukturen, sozialen Beziehungen und Politik bis hin zu den kleinsten Details des Alltagslebens. Die TV-Dokumentation „Der Gruen-Effekt“ der beiden österreichischen Regisseurinnen Anette Baldauf und Katharina Weingartner erzählt von Gruens Visionen von einer Stadt als lebendigem Marktplatz und von den fatalen Irrtümern eines überzeugten Sozialisten.

This is the Thesis Project of Theresa Lobkowicz (Industrial Designer).
My Part was to animate and composite the “Guardian Angel”, a small helicopter which fits into a handbag. The Project had a low budget and a very short time frame. So thanks to the very ambitious team the outcome is really nice.

Ukraine is a nation struggling to establish a stable economy, a functioning legal system and to control criminal enterprises. Tragically, since the fall of the Soviet Union hundreds of thousands of women, children and men have been trafficked from Ukraine to the United States and Western Europe and forced into sexual or labor servitude. Their situation is not unique to the world as the global community faces a rising tide in human trafficking. Through personal stories of victims and interviews with politicians, NGO representatives and activists, Fatal Promises provides a comprehensive look at the global realities of human trafficking verses the rhetoric of politicians and pundits who claim to be making significant strides in combating this horrific crime against humanity.

Anfeindungen, Alltagsrassismem und „N**** raus“-Beschmierungen beantworten sie mit eigenen Initiativen, selbstbewusst und zuweilen mit überraschenden Mitteln.
